In 2019, the children from Holy Trinity Primary School won the Heritage Angel Award for their project making architectural replicas of buildings of significance in terms of our built heritage. This year, despite lockdown, the children have produced more gems, such as Devenish Island, Enniskillen Workhouse, the Poolbeg Chimneys, Cole’s Monument (in lego), the Ropebridge at Carrick-a-Rede in Co Antrim, and Queens Maeve’s Grave, Co Sligo.
The models would normally be proudly on display at Enniskillen Castle but this year we are displaying them online.
Well done to all the children who worked so hard on this project.
